"Gifts from the Land" was commissioned by Julie Stanley for her Kalamazoo restaurant Food Dance.
This is my largest work yet-- three painted panels sit inside niches in a painted frame 48" long. 3-D elements of stone, wood, seeds, paper, and polymer clay enhance the painting. The frame was beautifully constructed of birch plywood by my art partner and pal Richard Atwell.
